Holy 30th, Batman!

Yup, I've finally hit the big 3-0! Last Tuesday we all headed up to the fabulous revolving restaurant, Top of Waikiki for some delicious dinner while enjoying the 360* view. Will and I both had a Kobe beef cheeseburger Wellington with bacon, brie and foie gras. It was so incredibly rich, neither of us could eat more than half. Yummmm...
(and yes, that is a Happy Birthday tiara on my head - thanks mom!)
Here's dad, perusing the incredible menu
Mom and me, cracking up as the waiter brings us yet another slice of mango bread
Cherity and Nick, all smiles.
A huge thank you to mom and dad who gave us an amazing staycation at the brand new hotel, Waikiki Edition. It was sooooooooooooo beautiful and relaxing...I didn't want to leave. Just about everything in the hotel is white...walls, lamps, beds, tables...it was so clean looking! The giant bathroom sink (with louvers that peeked out into the bedroom area...a little crazy!)
And here is the view from our terrace of one of the hotel's pools. Will named this one "the puddle" because it was no deeper than two feet. More of a float-around pool...not so great for swimming. hahaha.
Our view out towards the ocean and the harbor just before sunset. Such a pretty afternoon.
Here's Will lounging around looking at the room-service menu. We were too comfy and lazy to actually move. :)
And here I am, enjoying the comfy chair out on the terrace...soooo relaxing.
One of the lounge beds surrounding the pools. So fancy!!
true relaxation...
And just for fun, some stereotypical Japanese tourists we saw in Waikiki. Too funny!!
Had such a fun birthday!! Thanks soooo much to mom, dad, Nick, Cherity and Will for making my 30th birthday such an amazing one!! Love you guys!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
