Here fishie fishie fishie...

Yesterday, the boys went on a deep sea fishing adventure with our family friend, Doug Peebles. Here's Doug's new boat below. Isn't it pretty!?
A gorgeous day for some boating (and for some sunscreen, Nick!)
The view of Kaneohe from sea - so pretty!!
The boys must have been channelling some good fishing vibes, because they caught upwards of 13 fishies!! Most are aku (skipjack tuna) and one is a young yellowfin tuna (he's the cutie, second from the bottom).
So many fish!!
This guy was thirsty for some beer.
Here's dad with his beautiful yellowfin tuna!
And Nick with two huge aku that he caught (each weighed more than 20lbs!)
Nick, Dad, Doug and Will holding their beautiful fish.
While the boys were off playing with fish all day, Mom and I did a little furniture shopping and I even managed to bake a blueberry pie (just in case the boys didn't catch anything). Mango season has finally arrived, by the way, and trees everywhere are dropping fruit by the tons. Here are four from Doug's tree, next to the cooling pie. If you love mango, now is the time to visit!! :)
While the pie was cooling, our sweet and generous neighbor came by to share his harvest with us. He's been growing his own hybrid sweet corn in his backyard and man-oh-man was it delicious!
We grilled up some of the aku fillets, the whole yellowfin tuna, five ears of corn, yummy salad and blueberry pie for dessert. It was such fun for all of us to sit around, eat the freshest fish (and corn) ever and hear all of the fish-tales from the day. :)
