Summer's Bounty

So this summer is, by far, the best summer EVER! (followed closely by August of '06 when a certain crazy couple tied the knot). The gifts of this summer keep on giving...like the precious smiles and goofy faces we get from James every day.

And the comforting kisses from a favorite puppy.

Even the screams let us know how well our lungs are working.

The toy "car-wash" as Will calls it it always entertaining. Haupia wishes she could play too.

Mid-morning snuggles...

Even hacking back the jungle that is our backyard offers beauty and smiles.

Abandoned orchid plants bloom again.

papaya trees share their yummy fruit

and a "volunteer" cherry tomato plant offers up soooo many beautiful fruit!!
