Yesterday, Mom, Will and I headed over to the 32nd annual Prince Lot Hula Festival at Moanalua Gardens. It's the most beautiful place and event. Dancers perform on one of the last remaining pa hula (sacred hula mound) on Oahu. So here are some pics (and videos) for your viewing pleasure! If it looks like something you'd like to see in person, come with us the third Saturday of July next year!Huge monkey-pod trees interlink their branches to create an expanse of dappled shade for dancers and audience alike.

It was one of the bigger halau and their performers were amazing.Here are some cute keiki singing and dancing with Hawaiian instruments, Uliuli (feathered gourd rattle), Pu'ili (split bamboo sticks), and Ipu (gourd drum).
