Since we LOVE cooking, eating, and talking about food, we thought we'd share our obsession every once in a while with you! Our latest crazy concoction was this pizza (below) that we made from scratch. It's not the most perfect shape...but boy oh boy did it taste good.
We bought some whole wheat dough from Whole Foods, made our own sauce and topped everything off with goodies from our garden (zucchini, basil and tomats) and from the farmer's market (onions, bell pepper and local mozzarella). After a few mishaps with sticky dough and burnt fingers (pizza stones get REALLY hot, btw) we finally got to enjoy our fresh garden pizza on a rainy Hawaiian winter night. Yummmmm...While enjoying our pizza, we pondered the fabulous question of the day from Plinky.com
"What is your favorite line from your favorite movie?" or something like that.
One of our favorite movies (that we both agree on) is The Princess Bride. My favorite line has to be the old priest saying, "Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam..." Hilarious!
When I asked Will what his favorite line is, he said that he didn't really have a favorite line but wanted everyone to know, "I am immune to iocane powder". We're having tshirts and bumper stickers printed up as we speak. :)
