Hope everyone had a marvelous Easter weekend! We had an AWESOME time hanging out with Kari, and Mike and Maya!! Today we headed down to Kailua Beach in the morning for Maya's first splash in Hawaiian waters. 
Although it looks like she is tip-toeing to the water, Maya is actually running full force towards the waves. This child is fearless!

After a busy day at the beach, we headed back home to wash the super-fine sand off of Maya (a.k.a. shake-n-bake baby). Although our amazing gold easter eggs were destroyed by humidity, Maya didn't seem to mind. 
We had a huge 20lb. ham, roasted purple sweet potats, mac salad, "weed" salad and ahi and taco poke before Kari, Mike and Maya had to hop on a plane over to Maui. Hope they have a phenomenal time in Maui and a happy early first birthday to Maya!!
