It's been 11+ years since we've seen each other, but it hardly feels like a day has passed since my BFF, Julia, and I were together. She and her husband, Brian, flew out to visit us on their way to Kauai. Although it was tricky for them to catch a flight (Brian is a pilot and they were flying standby), they finally made it last night...just in time for some tropical drinks, laughter and a little catching up.

And I just found this picture of us on a friend's boat, our senior year of high school. There's Julia in the center and me to the right. Ahhh...the memories.
It was so much fun seeing her again, and meeting her sweet hubby...I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be able to visit again on their way back from Kauai. Love you guys!!
