After enjoying the sand creations, we walked down the beach...saw some friends, played in the waves, and dodged the giant kite-surfers. They're cool to watch, but pretty dangerous when they're first learning to control the huge kites. The screams of "look out!" and "incoming!" aren't exactly soothing beach sounds.

Here are the sandy pups after an exciting morning at the beach. They tried desperately to "claim" the sandcastles as their own (if you catch our drift), but we kept them on a tight leash and away from the art. Once we got further down the shore, though, we let them off leash to chase each other and snatch seaweed from the surf. We'll have to take video one of these days...

Although the pups are pooped (and already napping), Will's energy to play with his favorite Christmas toy seems unending. Here he is with his machete in hand; "victims" at his feet.
Things grow so quickly here, it seems the only thing we ever do around the yard is transplant and cut-back! We're always looking for free laborers, by the way. We'll trade your hard work for free room and board. Just think about it. ;)
Hope you all have a marvelous weekend and don't forget to watch the Oscar's tomorrow! We're co-hosting a fabulous Oscar party tomorrow with the Garbisch Ohana and cannot wait for the food (Parvin, you understand), the great company and the inevitable red-carpet shenanigans! :)
Oh, I wish our families could have an Oscar party together! We are all going over to my parents house tomorrow and ordering in food. It's going to be chaos. And so much fun. I'll be thinking of you:) XOXO
